How To Raise A GENIUS Child (Parenting Seminar)

It’s wonderful that Dr. Alex Tang agreed to do this.  While I may have some insights but it’s pretty much as a fellow pilgrim with those in our church.  Having Alex come surely will help us expand our horizons and help us take note of our blind spots.  I’m confident there will be much for us to chew on, process and re-appropriate.  He’ll also be speaking during our worship gathering on the Sunday morning at 10am. Feel free to join us!

How To Raise A GENIUS Child
June 30 – July 1, 2007

What Is A GENIUS Child

GROWING NORMALLY
EMOTIONAL QUOTIENT
NUTRITION
INTELLIGENCE QUOTIENT
UTMOST POTENTIAL
SPIRITUAL QUOTIENT

There is a lot of interest in effective parenting. Often seminars on parenting are presented from a functional point of view based on anecdotal and sometimes erroneous behavioral techniques.

This seminar aims at presenting effective parenting from biblical perspective and will give a balance view of parenting with respect to the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the growth of the child.

It grows out of my experience as a consultant paediatrician and my concern for the current emphasis on parenting for performance and achievement at the expense of a balanced growth of the child. It is our responsibility as parents to grow a GENIUS child.
