Appearances are indeed deceiving! I was similarly moved except that I turned EMO on the 1st take

there must be something wrong with me. i thought he had a great voice, and it was all very nice, but i am absolutely untouched.

z – perhaps I teared because I came with no expectation. 🙂 no worries. you are still the man!

Others – I think the big take away for me was more than he can sing, it was an ordinary sales man had a moment to shine. I thought that was special!

z – I think I should have said you are still the woman? 🙂

For the record I did not cry (just a little misty). I was amazed by his voice (at first I thought it was a set up) and touched but his non pretentious mannerism.

sigh . . . 🙂 i guess i just wasn’t surprised. i’ve just seen too many wonderful, smart, talented, gifted, amazing people . . . not succeed, miss out on jobs, bla bla bla.

really. success does not always go to the people who deserve them. sigh. i’m too cynical right now.

FYI, Paul Potts won the competition, beating the 6 year old Conny Talbott and many other talented performers.

He gets to sing for the queen. Wow, what an honor.
