Blessed Pentecost Sunday.  Happy Birthday, Church – The Body of Christ left behind until that final day!

I need to start practicing my harmonica soon.  I miss playing it! :-)

Tomorrow is Pentecost Sunday.  This song has been ringing in my heart since driving down from Cameron Highlands.

I wonder who would be the progressive voices in Malaysia? What would be the moral centre for Malaysian politics? How could we go deeper?

Bishop Wright advocates for the full participation of women in the life of the Church. Citing the examples of Junia as an apostle and Phoebe as a deacon in Romans 16, and the commissioning of Mary Magdelene as the first person to announce the resurrection of Jesus in John 20, he believes that the biblical evidence supporting women in leadership is overwhelming.

There are still many pastors and leaders both young and old in Malaysian churches who would find it difficult to embrace Bishop Wrights interpretation here. I’m not one of them :-) So, I’m looking forward to congratulate our associate pastor Naomi Tan on her ordination on the 31 August 2009!

Sounds like there are some insights here for genuine engagement at all levels and other issues too. It doesn’t resolve the tensions before us and within us easily. But perhaps, we can hope for better ways forward.

The whole 8 minutes is worth every second. Jonathan Brink’s words below kind of lead me there:

"Perhaps we will find ourselves drawn to the author who believes in us enough to leave so many pages blank

Control and Perspective huh? Looks like I might read the book “Someday”. It’s a welcome complement to Allen’s earlier book.  Good follow up on his talk too!

Cross platform GTD in Evernote

I’m growing on Evernote :-)

Evernote and GTD (3): Collecting with the iPhone

Yummy, would I have the chance to use the iPhone to try some day?

May have linked this before.  But seriously, it makes a difference!

Making presentations in the TED style

I wonder whether I should try “Presenting fully naked, no slides, no script” one of these days :-)

Nice to hear Susan Boyle sing again :-) Would she win? :-)

I’m off to “get some dinner” (it’s a version of getting things done! :-) )

But seriously, I’m still working out how the insights of David Allen works with my kind of make up.  I like his ideas and I’m using some of the concepts. Some I’m still struggling to get it done right.  Well, I guess changing habits takes longer than a zap.
