Hell in A Hand Basket

*Warning, some viewers may find language in this video offensive. Author and professor John Goldingay’s take on the condition of the North American church, his strategy for love and what breaks his heart.*

I needed to pause and allow John’s words and example to bring to perspective some priorities in life.

Reading for Ann added more depth into this video.

This is John Goldingay’s Eulogy for his late wife Ann.

Touching. Almost cried and really, what John said about the church brings new church perspectives on what is going on even in the Malaysian churches. Eye-opening. Thanks Rev. Sivin for sharing this video, the blog entry and the Eulogy – taught me and made me realized some things in what I have gone through and going through now. The verse about Paul having the thorn in his flesh, truly reminded me that God’s grace is always sufficient for us, despite us doing things beyond stupidity.

Thank you. And I hope to be able to meet up with you one day! :)
