Yummy! I miss those! Loved them plain or with fillings!
Those are not burgers but “Kom Piang”. It’s a kind of small flat bread made by the foochows. For the kind with sesame seeds on top, the dough is made differently from bread and is savory on its own. The mince meat is inserted either before or after the whole flat bread is fried in oil.
The different varieties of “Kom Piang” are available either in Sibu or Setiawan / Ayer Tawar, where some foochows still make them. The savory ones freeze well and can be transported here! Hint!
