I find it quite ironic and contradictory that a guy who criticizes pastor Kyle's sermon on living life to the full would look at his death as a form of judgement. I mean... if we're not supposed to love the world, then for Proctor, wouldn't death be a blessing rather than a curse/judgement? Why is he so happy that he is alive and Pastor Kyle is not? Does he love the world?
