I believe there is "space" for people to be Christians within a variety of living traditions - Calvinist or other wise ... I see myself closer to Lutheran tribe :-)partly because I'm serving under a Lutheran denomination in Malaysia .. but then again, I keep reminding myself my loyalties first and foremost a Christ-follower, and the anyn historical heritage is to be appreciated without "idolizing".

Ooh...yet another post, or ex, calvinist.

Steve Hays, by the way, responds to McKnight here:http://triablogue.blogspot.com/2005/07/post-calvinism-1.html

Can't say I'm a calvinist myself...though I'm seriously contemplating it.

Thanks for the McKnight link; I'm such a young Calvinist and there're so many passages I haven't considered yet, Hebrews or otherwise...I wonder where I'll be in 20 years time?
