Sivin, I have read the 2nd ed paperback.... some of the discussion questions made reference to wrong pages, for eg. In the chapter on Sin, question 5 made a reference to page 198, which does not have anything on it. This happened quite often in the discussion questions.

Ergo, I must confess that doing these E06 workshops and revisiting these chapters have done me much good. It caused me to "process" through the content of the issues deeper and deeper layer by layer. Now, before I jump into talking about the "morality" of a particular issue. I pause and bring up in parallel thinking the "morality of my reaction/response. That is where I think we Christians often have failed and need to work on. Lord have mercy.

Quite sad at what happened to the guy in Campolo's case. Made me kind of guilty too. We had a gay guy in secondary school who ended up pretty much a loner. No one wanted to talk to him; no one knows where he is right now. No one cared to be his friend.

Even more ashamed at the love and forgiveness the guy in McLaren's case. Such grace; that I don't know if I'm able to do that... honestly :(
