Being away 27 days does give one "perspective". Of course, one needs to consciously engage in such reflective praxis! Taking my son Gareth on 2 LRT rides - Putra and Star, and walking from the station to my mom's house REALLY made me notice a load of things - from the people in the train to the rubbish on the road, as well as the amount of noise in our city and also the free play of football near the flats. thanks Kevin it’s good to be back … and it’s good to hear, see, feel and smell Kuala Lumpur in a (fresh) new light.
