As a Christian I need to be reminded time and again of the Lords heart.
In my “comfort”, i often fail to see the injustice and unrighteousness all around me and act to do something [other than complain and murmur].
Social-economic policies; “mis” education; rampant crime; justice delayed, denied and corrupted…Yet the Church’s responsibility is great to “Cry aloud, spare not, LIFT up your voice like a trumpet; tell my people their transgression” Isa 58:1
As Malaysia sees it’s elections this 2008, we need to proclaim Amos 5 louder than we ever have before - as we see justice and righteousness trampled n destroyed, by people who honor Him with their lips but with hearts that are far away from Him.
Ever wonder why Jesus had to constantly repeate “Let him who has a ear, LISTEN to what the Spirit has to say”?
