Streamyx has been slow in service (e.g. transferring my old line to my new phoneline … imagine I’ve been to their service centers twice! and called twice) and further it’s slow in even uploading pages 🙁 now I’m in BLC. I thought I could have had more output this holiday season but I’m disappointed.
off line life has been decent and good though 🙂
Haha, you’re not alone…my broadband has turned into a modem and I know from experience that calling TMNet’s customer service is pretty much futile.
Ah well =)
Here also in KK, Sabah.. SLOW SLOW SLOW!!!
TMNet? Customer service??! Hahahahahaha … Bulls**t I’m not just a number.
Here in KK Sabah.. aiyo. Bloody awful. I’ve given up calling their 1300889515 ‘support’ line. First thing they do is ask if I’m using a splitter/router. If I say yes the first thing they try to do is blame my setup. I’ve given up honesty in favour of it’s-not-my-damn-problem-it’s-your-bloody-problem-fix-it-NOW answers.
I’ve made 30 odd reports (no joking, one time I asked the girl on the line to count them for me) in the past 2ish years.
Only reason I’m still with Streamyx is they have a monopoly. Was very happy with the announcement that Jaring Broadband would be launched, but I have found out that Jaring is only leasing TMNet’s crappy hardware and not using any of their own. So the problem should still be there. Very disappointed.
Streamyx typical response “Have you check your this, that and that?”, “What modem are you using?”, “Disconnect your router, modem, and reset you PC and try again”.
Everytime I call the damn number, my blood pressure sure increase. No joking, these are jokers trying to fool idiots around, but they don’t realize there are not many idiots around.
Even if Streamyx (actually they don’t have) has world class broadband infrastructure, they will still fail to deliver quality service if they continue with their 3rd country mindset.
If Streamyx, Jaring + etc all failed to deliver quality broadband service then MCMC should open up the market for major foreign providers to offer their broadband services here.
Else, how can we achieve quality service and good penetration of broadband usage?
Let competitions do the job, If Streamyx and Jaring fail to improve the broadband coverage, usage and quality service. Else, they will remain taking advantage of the poor broadband users, whom are being forced to use the inferior broadband services.
StreamyxBlue.
i have one word for tmnet streamyx, SUCK!it is not only slow, sometime i can’t even go online at nite.Besides that, the tmnet technician is really unfriendly and not willing to help. Who the hell they think they are? That type of low salary and lousy job!
