I’ve always liked Matt Redman songs. So, it’s nice to return to songs like this during the Lenten season. I love the line “what can make us whole again.”

有一位神 There is a God (You Yi Wei Shen)
Occasionally, we get to hear and sing a Mandarin song in BLC. Here’s one after Pastor Naomi’s sermon a couple of weeks ago. It’s also a rare video with me singing at the back ground quietly. Usually, I’m holding the camera! Thanks to Yu Chiet to capturing the moment!
Brian Eno – By This River
Here we are Stuck by this river, You and I Underneath a sky that’s ever falling down, down, down Ever falling down. Through the day As if on an ocean Waiting here, Always failing to remember why we came, came, came: I wonder why we came. You talk to me as if from a distance…
David Byrne and Brian Eno: Strange Overtones
This song has been ringing in my ears since I first heard it yesterday.
Andy McKee – Into the Ocean
The right song to end the night for me . . . The week has been very intense. So, the music has been helpful to let my soul catch up with my body.
Michael Hedges – All Along the Watchtower
What do I do relax? Well . Michael Hedges helps! 🙂 I think I’ll be returning to his music this coming week.
Sunday Bloody Sunday(Rattle and Hum)
I’m still in my U2 mode. This is for the friend who sat on my left during a time of prayer today. “How long?”
U2 – Where the streets have no name
There’s something about this song that does wonders for me .
God of the moon and stars – Kees Kraayenoord
I stumbled on this song at Todd Hiestand’s blog, below is another version which is a mix of videos and images. The lyrics and music is simple and powerful enough. With the images it comforts and disturbs at the same time, while bring us back to the center.
U2 – Magnificent (Live – Night 2 – Letterman)
If you see me wearing a U2 T-shirt, that means you know what happened.
