Since Brian was so kind to name a good man you should know more about … (whom I fully agree after checking out Ron Martoia’s blog and books!), I thought I’d mention Brian McLaren in this post as a good man we should all pay attention to as well (just in case some don’t know…
What Does Rob Bell Think about the TNIV?
I use TNIV too partly after hearing the excellent renderings through The Bible Experience (They’ve the whole 66 books!). Of course, there are other versions that I personally like for example, the NASB, the Message and at one time the NLT. The way Rob Bell introduces the TNIV is energizing and fun!
N.T. Wright on Satan and Evil 3
I think I need more prayer support too. Especially, after being sick for the most part of the week. Lord have mercy, deliver us from the evil one.
Sivin Kit on the Wrath of God?
I giggled when I saw the photo the Star used for their article The Wrath of God? I look a little slimmer and younger right? Sure! Because this picture was taken quite a few years ago. 🙂 Anyway, the experience of answering the questions posed by Liz Tai was helpful to force me to work…
N.T. Wright on the Postmodern Movement 2

Google Killer? I don’t think so. Duet? By all means! Then I couldn’t resist and typed in “Potato chips”. And wah lah ….
Praying for the Enemy
BECAUSE GOD INTENDS OUR ENEMIES TO BE OUR ALLIES and friends someday, Jesus insists that we pray for them. Such universalism is a challenge to any age. People find it far easier to write off individuals, even whole groups, as evil than to maintain a sense that we’re all in this together and need to…
May 13, Institutions, Compassion, CCM & Perak
The Micah Mandate Online E-zine is still trying it’s best to provide space for alternative Christian voice on matters of public concern especially in Malaysia. Forgive me for slacking in redirecting your attention there. I’ve been distracted by Twitter I think 🙂 The Gospel of Jesus Forty Years After May 13 I read an awesome…
7 Ways to Love Your Neighbor in Malaysia
Inspired by 50 Ways to Love Your Neighbor. Let me give it a jump start, can’t come out with 50 at one go. But 7 is possible. “Neighbor” here begins with the people really staying next to you or the same floor with you. But it extends to “Neighbors” at work, school, interest groups, clubs,…
