When I came back from Cameron on Wednesday, Elysia was at home to welcome me 🙂 Well, my mom too … May Chin has gone back to “normal” work schedules. There’s still a lot of adjustments for all of us … one step at a time.

Happy Birthday, Luv!
Many moons ago … May Chin’s Mom (who also has the same birth date!) went into labor on Labor Day and pop came this amazing woman … who’s now my amazing wife and wonderful mother of Gareth and Elysia. She’s a great friend to many in her own quiet way … she’s a good employee…
Hi! Sally … Elysia’s new friend
It’s rare for Mama May Chin to come out with something creative like this naming … this little pink bear – Sally! It’s a cute gift given by our German friends and suits Elysia just nice. Elysia has been growing healthy and fine. It’s been quite an adjustment but very much rewarding in all aspects!…
Good Job! 1st Day at “School”
I felt really proud of Gareth today on his first day at “school” (actually it’s nursery …). We went scouting around the other day .. and managed to find three church related kindergartens. Each has their uniqueness. One was very small, the other that has lots of space and one more pretty sophisticated. This brings…
Finishing Strong
It was great on Saturday when Gareth and I had another father-son bonding time. Thanks to World Vision Malaysia for organizing the Fun Night Walk to raise funds for poor communities in Marjeyoun, South Lebanon. The “Taman Arboretum” is a great place for an event like this. And it’s a first time for Gareth ……
Gareth Cool …
I just came back from a night out with Gareth to support a Worship CD launch by 1accordministry at my friend Pastor Timothy Loh’s church EaglePoint Christian Fellowship. It’s been quite a while since I’ve attended a concert like this. *grin* (in normal circumstances I’d probably stay home but with an invitation from a good…
Happy Full Moon … Elysia!
We’re so glad you came, Elysia … the whole month of “orientation” has been quite an experience for Gareth (especially), Mummy and Papa … 🙂
Elysia’s Day Out
This is a picture I took on Saturday and wow! she’s already 11 days old. Today, May Chin “moved out of the box” of common Chinese practice and decided to come for Sunday Worship with Elysia. (In most cases, even for Chinese Christians – mothers after giving birth would stay at home for at least…
Blessings
I love this photo, it’s going to be a personal favorite. The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace Every Sunday, one of my favorite moments is the blessing or benediction as…
A whole new world
well I’m sure it’s a whole new world to Elysia after spending months in mummy’s tummy. And yet, it’s also a “whole new world” for Gareth to a new person in the home. Daily there’s new lessons to learn. He’s doing better most of the time. BUt it’s still adjustments. I found it helpful to…
