When I can”t decide what to eat it’s usually roast chicken rice or roast pork rice. Yesterday, it was chicken for lunch. Today, it’s pork. I confess I’m often indecisive when it comes to food. It’s easier to say what I don’t want then what I do want.
I was tempted to title my sermon today based on Revelation 5:11-14 and 1:4-8 “Striking back the empire.”:-) I think I went for something more “spiritual sounding.”
4 messages await me, with a bunch of university students ready to be comforted or challenged in the coming 4 days. Gareth told me he doesn’t want be to be away for so many days. I’m finding it harder and harder to be away from home. The last “long” trip in Germany was REALLY a little too long for Gareth. It’s wonderful to know you are “wanted” and “needed” at home. It’s not like I yearn to be “needed”, it’s just wonderful to hear it from Gareth.
I hope to do some “leisurely” reading today before an intense couple of days of ministry.
Good to see the Worship Core of BLC meet today .. that’s the second one. As time passes the third “Communitas” (combination of learning + community) core will need to meet soon. The seeds are slowly growing .. for that I’m thankful.
Watching Elysia flipping the children’s story books was a pleasant experience. It’s was totally natural.
Surprised to see a newcomer today at the worship gathering which was part of my previous church when we were younger. It still fascinated me how people are connected with each other these days. Even listening to the current council members share last Friday on their Christian journey thus far threw light on interconnected relationships we all had with each other.
Now, that’s food for thought when it comes to change.
Now it’s time for 40 winks …
Yeah I like roast pork rice too hehe… hey just wanted to let you know that i’ve nominated you to the thinking blogger award.
