Dear Friends,
What does Teoh Beng Hock have to do with Yasmin Ahmad? What does all this have to do with us?
Before Yasmin Ahmad left us, she said in July 16, 2009:
“Someone please wake me from this nightmare and tell me that this did not happen in my country and that Teoh Beng Hock is safe at home with his family.”
Beng Hock’s inquest is ongoing. Yasmin has left us with glimpses the kind of Malaysia she envisions. Let’s come together to remember them and the important issues brought to our awareness because of them.
-No Political Speeches. Just tributes, reflection. and imagining a Better Malaysia together the way both Beng Hock and Yasmin did with their work and life example.

I can’t be there in person but I will certainly be there in spirit. Yasmin was the epitome of God’s love recalled back far too soon and Teoh was another of God’s child also recalled back too soon. I take comfort in the knowledge that they now no longer feel the pain of the living.
